The schematics: paper product or the heart of the project?
- Place components near to each other, that also should be together on the layout.
- Use net- and component-attributes/constraints to further shape the layout and checks.
- See to that a complete BOM (Bill Of Materials) can be generated from the schematics.
- Check and doublecheck CAE-, CAD-, MECH- and simulation libraries / connections.
No system is better than the library information allows.
